VLSI WINS $948 MILLION VERDICT AGAINST INTEL
11/15/2022Irell & Manella LLP and Mark Mann and Andy Tindel of Mann Tindel Thompson secured a verdict of $948,755,789.00, plus running royalties on behalf of VLSI Technology LLC against Intel Corporation in a suit involving a microprocessor technology patent owned by VLSI. The Austin, Texas jury found that Intel had infringed the asserted claims of VLSI’s patent and that Intel had not shown the patent was invalid. This award follows a $2.3 Billion Final Judgment that VLSI had previously obtained in a separate suit against Intel in April 2022.
