FACEBOOK HIT WITH $175 MILLION VERDICT IN AUSTIN
09/21/2022Voxer Inc. received a $174.5 million verdict against Facebook parent Meta Platforms Inc. from jurors in Austin, Texas courtroom, who found Meta had infringed two patents related to video streaming and messaging. Meta's Facebook Live and Instagram Live live-streaming features were found to have infringed Voxer's patented technology.
