VLSI SECURES $2.3+ BILLION PATENT INFRINGEMENT JUDGMENT AGAINST INTEL
05/20/2022Irell & Manella LLP and Mark Mann and Andy Tindel of Mann Tindel Thompson persuaded a judge to issue a Final Judgment in the amount of $2,337,321,343.00 in favor of VLSI Technology LLC in a suit filed against Intel Corporation involving two patents on technology used in Intel’s microprocessors. The judgment includes more than $162 million in prejudgment interest and post-judgment interest on the amount of the judgment will continue to accrue. This judgment comes a little over a year after a Waco, Texas jury previousuly awarded VLSI over $2.18 billion in this case.
