Andy Tindel Elected President of the T. John Ward American Inn of Court Chapter

Andy Tindel was elected President of the Honorable T. John Ward Chapter of the American Inn of Court as its meeting on October 18, 2012.  The chapter was named for long time United States District Judge T. John Ward, who presided in the Marshall Division of the Eastern District of Texas beginning in 1999 until his retirement in 2011.  The T. John Ward Chapter was founded in 2006 and is composed of roughly 75 trial lawyers from a seven county area in East Texas who primarily practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.  Danny Buck Davison and Scrappy Holmes, the prosecuting and defense lawyers in the case of State of Texas v. Bernard Tiede,  which was the subject of the recent motion picture "Bernie", spoke to the Inn on their remininces of the trial and their involvment in making of the film.
